What's the difference between an operable (running) and inoperable (non-running) vehicle?
What's the difference between an operable (running) and inoperable (non-running) vehicle?
Updated over 2 weeks ago

An operable (running) vehicle is one that can start, run, and move under its own power, allowing it to be driven onto and off the car transport trailer.

In contrast, an inoperable (non-running) vehicle cannot do this and requires additional equipment, such as a winch or forklift, to be loaded and unloaded. Shipping an inoperable vehicle typically costs more due to the extra effort and time needed, and not all transport trucks are equipped to handle them, which can also lead to longer wait times for pickup. That's why it's vital you share such information when you request a quote and make your booking.
