No, personal items inside the vehicle are not covered by the carrier’s cargo insurance. Neither we nor the carrier are liable for any personal belongings left in the car during auto transport. Personal items are not inspected or inventoried; only the exterior of the vehicle is checked upon pickup and delivery. It's highly recommended not to place heavy, bulky, or expensive items inside the vehicle. However, one or two pieces of luggage in the trunk or cargo area are generally acceptable.
